Scenarios

From a 2022 baseline, with a 67.6 million UK population:

1. High: annual net migration of 525,000 from 2028. UK population in 2046: 80.9 million.
2. Principle: annual net migration of 340,000 from 2028. UK population in 2046: 76.3 million.
3. Low: annual net migration of 120,000 from 2028. UK population in 2046: 70.9 million.

Net migration in the year to June 2023 was 874,000.
